About the Founder

Dr. Paul Wrubel holds four degrees. He received a BA from Middlebury College, an MAT in history from Wesleyan University and an MA and PhD. From Stanford University. His professional experience includes a decade of teaching in a Connecticut public high school and eight years in a number of administrative roles in California including serving as the Principal of Gunn High School in Palo Alto. Over the last 25 years, Dr. Wrubel has been an independent counselor for high schools, service clubs, government programs, non-profits, licensed professionals and companies in the financial services sector. He has helped families of every description and income in locations around the globe.

Dr. Wrubel has been recognized nationally as a “go-to” authority on college funding matters and as such has been quoted frequently in the print and broadcast media. He has appeared on talk shows and has conducted hundreds of public workshops on college admissions and funding issues around the nation.
